Caring For Resin
Caring for resin can be very particular, but not challenging.
It needs to be kept out of direct sunlight first and foremost. I use high-quality crystal clear resin, however as with any resin, uv rays can cause it to amber. You don't have to keep it in complete darkness by any means, but be sure it's not sitting in a window or sunroom. Extreme heat can also cause thinner pieces to warp, so keeping it out of the sun is just good practice all around.
For dusting, simply use a microfiber cloth with no cleaning solution. If your piece gets particularly dirty, you can use 70% isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber cloth to gently wipe it down. If this needs to be done, it can be done VERY sparingly. Excessive use of alcohol can lead to the shine diminshing and the piece becoming cloudy.
Pieces can be polished by myself or another professional if the shine has diminished.
